INLINE GROUP for the first time in Russia introduced Assisted Reality technologies in the oil and gas industry based on the IKSAR platform and RealWear head mounted tablet («smart» glasses).

INLINE GROUP successfully completed in Slavneft-Megionneftegaz (JSC SN-MNG) a pilot project to create an information system for monitoring the condition of equipment based on its own innovative product «IKSAR » - a software platform for devices and technologies of Augmented and Assisted Reality solutions in combination with smart glasses and tablets.

Implementation of technologies and devices of assisted reality into the production process made it possible to transfer the entire list of activities carried out by employees of the oil preparation and pumping department during the process of visual inspection and equipment maintenance from paper to a media digital format. The solution also provided centralized management of workforce management, collection and processing of information about completed operations, elapsed time, and observance of production safety rules.

Two large functional blocks of tasks have been transformed into the digital format: large equipment maintenance and measuring device maintenance. When inspecting and servicing equipment, workers are guided by clear step-by-step graphical instructions broadcasted on the displays of smart glasses and tablets. The operators manage the steps of process using voice commands, identify equipment using bar codes scanning, and, if necessary, have a possibility to consult with Remote Expert through video and audio communications to quickly solve issues.

During the Project the use of technologies and devices of assisted reality have proven their effectiveness. The use of an information system had a positive effect on the quality of equipment maintenance, helped to reduce time costs, and increase the level of industrial safety.

“Digitalization and automation of production processes is a strategically important component of the enterprise’s activity,” said Danil Nikolayev, Deputy General Director of Slavneft-Megionneftegaz. “We are focused to create a single mobile IT platform that allows us to quickly determine the best solutions for managing personnel safety and the efficiency of production processes.”

“For the Russian market, the project to create an information system for monitoring the state of the equipment and the operational efficiency of the personnel is quite unique,” says Igor Gulianskii, Head of the Assisted and Augmented reality business stream at INLINE GROUP. – because Slavneft-Megionneftegaz became the first place in Russia where operational workers used «Smart glasses» in their daily operations for industrial tasks. The IKSAR platform, in combination with smart devices, has positively recommended itself as a tool for improving the efficiency of production processes. ” "IKSAR" is the first Russian integrated software platform for devices and technologies of assisted and augmented reality, created to improve the efficiency of business processes. In combination with smart mobile devices — glasses, tablets, smartphones — easily integrates into existing IT architecture of the Customer to design and visualize real-time various operations, simplifying the interaction between humans and devices.
