“Priangarskiy LPK” within the framework of the program of search and implementation of innovative solutions in the forestry industry ForestTech Accelerator completed a pilot project of using the domestic software “IKSAR” in combination with industrial AR-glasses in the service area of complex forestry equipment.
The IKSAR platform, developed by INLINE GROUP specialists, is a Russian software that fully meets the requirements for import substitution.
The key task of the pilot project is to test the applicability and effectiveness of technologies and augmented reality devices for digital support of the labor of mechanics performing duties on specialized forestry equipment. The work was carried out both at the production site of the plant and at remote logging sites. Reducing the forced downtime of equipment will provide a significant economic effect for the company. These technologies ensure the reliability of data on the work performed, including photo and video materials about control points within the process.
Russian software "IKSAR" made it possible to digitize the process of servicing the Forwarder Ponsse Buffalo machine in the shortest possible time. The mechanics then underwent a one-day express training and proceeded to execute the digital manuals on the industrial-grade RealWear HMT-1 smart glasses.

An intuitive voice control interface in Russian, a clear and visual procedure for performing work, presented right in front of the user's eyes, allows you to perform the maintenance process of equipment in strict accordance with the manufacturer's regulations. Performing work in the IKSAR software on a wearable device, the employee leaves a complete digital footprint and is not distracted by drawing up a final report upon completion of work.
The analytical module "IKSAR" allows you to view all the steps of the process in various sections, determine deviations from the standards, study the registered incidents and breakdowns, understand the location during work, the path traveled and much more.
Additional benefits can be provided by the IKSAR Remote Assistance module, which provides group video communication between a mechanic working with a technical unit or with a remotely located expert who will either more accurately determine the identified problem or help fix the problem on the spot within the framework of consultations. To do this, you can download additional documents or instructions, paint over a "live" video stream, "share" the screen, show video clips and other modern video communication tools.

Commenting on the results of the pilot project, Sergei Voloshin, Chief Transport Mechanic at Priangarsk LPK, noted the high potential of using IKSAR in combination with modern industrial AR-devices. The founder of IKSAR, Igor Gulyansky, for his part, noted the high level of involvement and support of the management and employees of Priangarsky LPK in the implementation of new digital tools.
It is important to note that in June 2021 the software platform of solutions for devices and technologies of augmented and virtual reality "IKSAR" was included in the register of Russian programs for electronic computers and databases by order of the Ministry of the Russian Federation dated June 22, 2021 No. 633 Appendix No. 1, register No. 10726 ...
Solutions based on the IKSAR AR platform are attracting more and more interest among customers and have already been implemented in the oil and gas, metallurgical, logging, machine-building and other industries. The most popular scenarios for the use of such technologies in Russia and the world are:
At the same time, the capabilities of IKSAR make it possible to implement any scenario of digital support for "field" employees, including integration with robotic equipment, IoT solutions on equipment, existing IT systems of the ERP class, APCS, MES, GIS and others.
